Cynical Male Genie

Male genies (genii?) don't get nearly as much hype as their female counterparts, except in Aladdin films. Here we have a male genie who's just a little disenchanted with humanity as a whole. There is something demeaning about being valued only for what you can do for others...

Hopefully, at some point, he will get a master who actually uses their wishes wisely and values him as an individual, but really? What are the odds that would happen?

I guess that depends on who's writing the story.
